The 4th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS'14)

April 14-16 2014, Marrakesh, Morocco

International Workshop on Cloud Computing and Security (IWCCS´14)

Cloud computing comes into focus for IT needs as a way to increase capacity or add capabilities, on the fly, without investing in new infrastructure, training new personnel, or licensing new software. Cloud computing encompasses any subscription-based or pay-per-use service that, in real time over the Internet, extends IT’s existing capabilities. Therefore, Cloud computing has gained great attention from both academia and Industry. On the other hand, Mobile Computing is dedicated to addressing the challenges in the areas of mobile computing networks, systems, algorithms and applications that support the symbiosis of mobile computers.
On the other hand, the theme of cloud security turns out to be a subject of the actuality and continues to attract interest from various actors involved in this type of network.
The Mobile Cloud Computing Technologies and Security session will address topics related to cloud and Mobile computing, including computing and data centers, the cloud network and its security, and its end-user services. The challenges facing architecture, performance, reliability, security, maintainability and the virtualization of the cloud will be included. To ensure complete coverage of the advances of the Cloud computing, original contributions are, but not limited to, the following topics areas:
Topics of interests include, but are not limited to:

  • Cloud computing programming and applications
  • Cloud Technologies
  • Computing and Datacenters
  • Cloud Computing Services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Storage as a service, etc..)
  • Provisioning of Cloud/Mobile Services
  • Clouds’ Security
  • Models for Managing Clouds (Monitoring, Control and Management)
  • Networking Architectures in Cloud
  • Performance Models and Evaluation
  • Principals of Virtualization
  • Scalability of Clouds
  • Distributed Systems Aspects of Mobile Computing
