Workshop 3:
Energy Efficiency in Building and Industry

The building and industrial sectors are the largest energy consumers worldwide. Although these sectors are experiencing rapid growth in final energy consumption, they also offer significant and numerous opportunities to improve energy savings and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, the aim of this workshop is to bring together specialists in order to exchange and share their experiences, present their research results, and identify potential areas of collaborations. All topics related to the energy efficiency in these sectors are welcome: (Integrated and sustainable buildings, construction materials, Experimental characterization of thermal properties, inverse techniques, heat transfer modeling and simulation, Energy audit and energy management, Life cycle cost analysis, thermal laws and regulations, insulation techniques, best practices, equipment…).
