{"id":75,"date":"2023-12-20T10:43:50","date_gmt":"2023-12-20T10:43:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yzaz.net\/irsec19\/?page_id=75"},"modified":"2023-12-20T10:43:50","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T10:43:50","slug":"special-session7","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/yzaz.net\/irsec19\/special-session7\/","title":{"rendered":"Special Session 7: Quality Infrastructure for Solar Thermal Energy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The objectives of the project: \u201cStrengthening Quality Infrastructure for Solar Thermal Energy\u201d<sup>(1)<\/sup><br \/>\nare to develop the quality infrastructure for solar thermal energy in the Maghreb countries (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia), to improve its cooperation with training institutes and to stimulate the quality assurance services for solar thermal energy systems in responsible institutions for this sector. Knowing that replacing conventional systems with solar water heaters will reduce CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions and increase the share of renewable energy in the Maghreb. Also, the project aims to promote the development of conformity assessment and certification for solar water heating systems and to improve the metrological traceability of required measurements. Furthermore, the project supports selected university institutes to expand education programs relating to quality infrastructure for solar thermal energy technologies and to encourage university graduates to integrate the aspects of quality assurance in their scientific and technical productions. This special session invites interested stakeholders to present their achievements and scientific work in the field of quality infrastructure for solar thermal energy technologies.
