Prof. Chakib Alaoui graduated from the University of Massachusetts, where he obtained his Ph.D. in 2001. He worked in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley for 4 years, then he joined academia in Morocco to work as university faculty. His research interests include renewable energy resources and their exploitation in Morocco, Smart Grid, and Electric Vehicle technologies. Prof. Alaoui is a technical and scientific committee member of various scientific journals and international conferences. He published more than 44 research papers in reputed journals in his fields of interest. He co-authored 3 book chapters and supervised 6 of Ph.D. thesis.
