This talk will describe and reflect upon experiences from CSP and thermal storage projects from Masdar. Experiences from Noor Midelt 1 will be shared, alongside Masdar’s general views about new hybrid solutions particularly tailored for the MENA region.
Biography
Guillermo Vazquez is currently the Engineering Manager of Noor Midelt I plant’s SPV in Morocco and the technical lead for CSP and Hybrid plants within Masdar. Guillermo has more than ten years of experience in various solar and storage technologies international projects covering all life cycle phases and working from the EPC and developer’s side. He holds a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently resides in Paris.
