At the present time, fossil fuels are still the major contributor to world energy production, providing the most energy supply, with oil accounting for 39% of that total. The energy challenges, the world is facing and the concern of improving our environment requires science and technologies for providing clean energy sources. Power-to-X (P2X) technologies emerged as an alternative to cope with the increasing energy demand and its role is likely to become more prominent in a fully decarbonized energy system. P2X is related to technologies that allow converting renewable electricity to storable chemicals and fuels such as hydrogen, methane, etc\u2026 Even though P2X has long been used by the chemical industry, major scientific challenges remain to increase its efficiency to be used at a larger scale.<br \/>\nIn this context, this workshop will gather together renewed international scientists, students and stakeholders aiming to tackle the advances in these technologies.
